Data used to check and save a Grok post
You can use this site without creating an account. Checking a post sends its URL to this service, which requests the public page and media from Grok. Do not submit private account information in the download form.
Downloads and temporary processing
The application keeps resolved source information in a temporary session for 10 minutes. Source downloads and previews are streamed through the service. Conversions temporarily save a source and output file for processing; converted download jobs expire after 10 minutes and temporary files are scheduled for cleanup.
This is not a personal media library or a permanent backup. Downloaded files on your device are managed by you and your browser. The app uses IP-based request limits, so no-account access should not be understood as anonymous network access.
Preferences and messages
The light or dark theme preference is saved in your browser’s local storage. Contact and rights reports store the email address, source URL, and message you submit, together with a reference and submission time, for review. These reports are separate from the short-lived download sessions.
Hosting and Cloudflare process requests as part of delivering and protecting the website. Application behavior described here does not establish a retention period for infrastructure logs or third-party processing. Grok also has its own practices for requests made to its services.
StatInside visitor analytics
This website uses the StatInside visitor counter. Requests to StatInside include the visited page URL, referring page, visit identifiers, browser and device information such as language and screen size, and interaction information such as clicks, scrolling and time on the page. Network requests also disclose your IP address to the provider.
The counter sets the si_usr_id visitor cookie for up to one year, renewed on visits, and the si_ses_id session cookie for approximately fifteen minutes, refreshed while a page remains open. These analytics identifiers are separate from the downloader’s ten-minute result sessions.
Depending on the counter configuration, StatInside can also record page content and interaction sequences for session replay, and collect browser errors. Analytics processing is separate from temporary media processing and the contact reports described on this page.
