Public links. No sign-up.

Download your own work or content you have permission to save.

01 / OUTPUT

The file you need.

Formats appear after a successful source check. Original media keeps its source quality and any existing watermark.

The original video, as publicly shared.

A converted loop from the first 15 seconds.

Public image posts may return an image source instead of a video. Conversions depend on the media found.

02 / PROCESS

Three steps.
One saved idea.

  1. [1]

    Copy the share link.

Open your Grok Imagine post and copy its public share URL. It should start with grok.com/imagine/post/.

  2. [2]

    Check the public source.

Paste the link above. We check the media available to guests and show the source or explain why it cannot be fetched.

  3. [3]

    Choose a file. Save it.

Download the available original, or prepare a clearly labelled conversion. Multiple links accepts up to ten public posts.

Why does my public Grok post fail here?

The share page and its media can have different access restrictions. If Grok refuses guest access to the file, this website cannot retrieve or convert it. Use the available download controls in Grok and check our status page before trying later.

Can I choose HD, 4K, or a watermark-free version?

The result offers the accessible source file. There is no HD/SD selector, upscaler, or watermark removal feature. The source determines resolution and any visible mark.

Does a GIF keep the sound?

No. GIF is a silent image format. Keep the video source for motion with its existing audio, or try MP3 if you only need an audio track that is present in the video.

Where will my download appear?

Check your browser’s download list and configured download folder. On a phone, it may appear in a file manager before it appears in a photo library. The exact saving controls depend on your browser.

Is this an official Grok service?

No. Grok Downloader is an independent tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by xAI. Account, subscription, and official export questions belong with Grok support.

Grok Imagine / DOWNLOAD GUIDE

A guide to saving Grok Imagine videos and images

Grok Downloader checks an individual public Imagine post for a video or image that can be accessed without signing in. When the source is available, you can preview it, save the source file, or choose a labelled conversion. A public share page alone does not guarantee a downloadable file: Grok can restrict access to the media even when the page opens.

Start with a link in the form https://grok.com/imagine/post/ followed by the post ID. If access is restricted, return to the creation in Grok and use the download or export options available there. You do not need an account or extension to use this website.

Choose a file for what you want to do next

For editing or keeping a copy of a video, choose the MP4 source when offered. It is the file supplied through the public post, without a new video encode. Source means the accessible published file; it does not promise the highest version in the creator’s account, a separate HD option, or a watermark-free copy.

A GIF is useful for a short silent animation. Here it uses up to the first 15 seconds, at 12 frames per second and 480 pixels wide. The JPG option takes the first video frame. MP3 extracts an audio track when the video contains one; it cannot create sound for a silent clip.

The post you share determines the result

Open the individual Imagine creation before copying its link. A conversation, a collection, an X post, and a direct media address are different from a supported Imagine post. This tool does not search an account, download every saved creation, or collect attachments from a chat.

If a post supplies a video, the result is a video with the applicable choices. If it supplies an image instead, the result can offer the image source and PNG, JPG, or WebP conversions where applicable. A JPG taken from a video is a frame, not a separately generated image. Preview the result before saving it.

Save a few creations without losing track

Batch mode checks up to 10 individual links and shows a result or error for each. The ZIP option contains successful source files, with a combined 200 MB limit. It does not make a ZIP of GIF conversions or expand a profile into a list of posts.

An individual source is limited to 200 MB. Conversion processing is limited to 10 minutes of media, with one conversion running at a time. Results and temporary converted downloads expire after 10 minutes, so save promptly. If a session expires, paste the original post link again.

Keep the context as well as the file

Keep a note of the source post and any permission you have to reuse it. Downloading changes where a file is stored; it does not grant rights to someone else’s work. Source watermarks remain, and converting a file does not improve its original detail.

Grok prompts are not exported by this tool. If you want to remember how your own creation was made, keep the prompt separately in your notes. For conversations and account data, use Grok’s official data controls rather than an Imagine media link.
