Grok Imagine / INFORMATION
Understand Grok Downloader availability
The website being online and a Grok file being downloadable are separate conditions. The live status shows the service’s recent source-lookup state and current conversion activity; it is not a guarantee for every public post.
Read the result in context
- Operational means a source lookup succeeded in the service session. Another post may still be unavailable.
- Restricted means Grok refused guest access. Use the download or export choices on the original platform.
- Degraded means the latest lookup failed for another reason, such as a missing source or temporary upstream problem.
- Not yet verified means no successful lookup has been recorded in the current service session.
- An active conversion uses the single conversion slot. A busy response does not by itself mean Grok is unavailable.
Launch observation: 17 September 2026
The launch check could read the tested public Grok share page, but its video delivery server returned HTTP 403. A successful Grok video download was not confirmed in that check. This is an observation about a specific example, not a measured success rate across Grok posts.
Use the current result for your link to decide the next step. For an expired session, submit the link again. For a restricted source, return to Grok. Report a repeatable error with the public post URL and message if it remains unclear.
